This workshop transforms the library tradition into a unique sensory experience. Participants will meet “living books,” people who tell their own traditions, experiences and cultures. Through interactive activities, workshops and performances, the audience will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a journey across continents and traditions.
During the event, Iran will offer an immersive experience in which the audience will be invited to reconstruct personal stories through cloth and cardboard, exploring the deep symbolic value of textiles in Persian culture. Germany will offer a poetry workshop to reflect through writing on stereotypes and prejudices related to foreign languages and cultures. Russia will engage participants in a creative activity dedicated to decorating the iconic matryoshkas, a symbol of Russian artistic tradition. Taiwan will lead a fascinating journey into the world of traditional characters, exploring the beauty of calligraphy and the pictographic origins of writing. Italy will offer a sensory experience with a guided tasting of specialty coffees, enhancing craftsmanship and quality. Venezuela will close with an enthralling musical performance, paying homage to the folklore of Los Llanos and the vitality of joropo.
