The workshop aims to critically explore the role of culture and ethics in the development of responsible artificial intelligence through shared reflection among participants. After a theoretical introduction on the concepts of bias, interpretability, and Responsible AI, participants will actively engage in the role of humanists and legislators of AI. Using simple and immediate digital tools, they will identify and map critical issues and biases existing in AI systems, discussing strategies to mitigate these issues while preserving cultural richness. Through guided collective work, they will draft an actual “AI Constitution,” defining its ethical principles and articles inspired by national constitutions. The workshop will conclude with a reflection on the indispensable role of humanities skills for the conscious and responsible use of artificial intelligence.
