The Rediscovered Drawing

9 May @ 15:00 - 17:00
Hours: 15:00 - 17:00 Target: high school students Language: Italian Organized by: Nicholas Pizzo

Giuseppe Piermarini, a native of Foligno, introduced the Neoclassical style to eighteenth-century Italy; an artistic style that harked back in taste and form to antiquity. His work is so valuable that it has become a source of study and research to this day. Using the material provided, the students will have to draw the facade of a theater that is reminiscent in features and style of a work designed by Piermarini himself.
