Roots: Learn Where You Live is inspired by the principle of historical and social research known as “dig where you live”, inviting participants to start from their own territory to rediscover its cultural heritage, traditions and local memories.
Through dedicated activities, young people learn how to collect and document the stories of their community, especially those preserved by the older generation, through interviews and direct conversations. Thanks to the use of smartphones and digital tools, these testimonies are recorded and preserved, transforming technology into a tool for memory and continuity between generations.
