Greetings from Foligno

Every city has its characteristic places that are landmarks for inhabitants and tourists alike. Foligno, too, has its monuments, symbols of a city whose centuries-old history is a clear cultural message. The children, divided into groups of up to four or five people, will have to draw, using the provided material, and create their own postcard about Foligno.

Nicholas Pizzo

After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna and a Master’s Degree in History from the Middle Ages to the Contemporary Age from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Nicholas Pizzo began working in the cultural sector as a Museum Guide. He currently works as a Guide at Teatro alla Scala, the Pinacoteca di Brera, the Gallerie d’Italia in Milan, and Villa Visconti Borromeo Arese Litta in Lainate.

In 2023, he published his first historical essay, Le Sagredo. A Dynasty of Salonnières in 18th-Century Venice, and had the opportunity to present it at Ca’ Sagredo in Venice and Villa Sagredo in Vigonovo. He collaborates with several journalistic publications, including Focus Storia, Music Paper Magazine, Fatti per la Storia, and Halloween Magazine Italia.

Since 2024, he has been creating social media content about the 18th century, also collaborating with several Italian museums, including the Reggia di Colorno, the Civic Museums of Ancient Art and Palazzo Pallavicini in Bologna, and the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan.
