SUMMARY:Is AI on the side of girls? Look for gender stereotypes in AI products
DESCRIPTION:In this 60-minute workshop\, participants become “bias hackers\,” critical analysts of language and images produced by Artificial Intelligence. Through a reverse engineering game\, the girls and boys\, divided into teams\, analyze texts\, images\, and videos generated by AI to identify hidden gender stereotypes\, linguistic biases\, and implicit assumptions. The goal is not to “break” AI\, but to understand how it works: what images of the world it reproduces\, what roles it assigns\, what voices it amplifies or silences. \nThe first 30 minutes are devoted to the workshop\, and the next 30 minutes are spent openly discussing the results. \nThe workshop is led by Sonia Montegiove\, journalist and computer scientist\, Giuseppina Bonerba\, professor of Semiotics at the University of Perugia\, and M.Pia Fanciulli\, journalist.

SUMMARY:Inclusive Vertical Gardens
DESCRIPTION:Inclusive Vertical Gardens is a hands-on workshop that brings together participants with different abilities through a collaborative artistic experience. Using inclusive\, experiential and collaborative methods\, participants co-create five vertical garden panels representing the word “CREA”\, plus an additional panel with “CULTURA”\, all using the festival’s typography and colours. The gardens are made with natural preserved moss and sustainable materials\, encouraging exploration of texture\, colour and composition through teamwork.\nMixed groups of up to six people per panel (maximum 30 participants\, including our 10 students with different abilities) work together to design and assemble each garden. Through guided team dynamics\, participants experience how artistic creation can connect people with diverse abilities\, backgrounds and perspectives.

SUMMARY:Understanding Dante with Voice and Body
DESCRIPTION:This workshop offers you a unique opportunity to approach Dante’s Inferno in a lively\, engaging\, and deeply experiential way.\n“Understanding Dante with Voice and Body” stems from the idea that Dante can truly be understood by giving him a voice\, exploring his rhythm\, sound\, and musicality\, and allowing his poetic words to resonate within the body. This is not a lecture\, but a practical and participatory experience: through vocal exercises\, work on rhythm\, choral listening\, and stage presence\, you will enter the text in a direct and concrete way.\nThe workshop is open to people of all ages\, with no previous theater experience necessary. Young people and adults will work together in a spirit of transgenerational collaboration\, building a choral experience that values every voice and every presence.\nThe course is part of a larger artistic and educational project on Dante’s Inferno and will culminate in a public performance during the Giornate Dantesche (Dante Days): a moment shared with the city\, in which the work carried out will take shape on stage.\nIf you want to discover Dante in a new and non-academic way\, explore your voice and expressiveness\, enjoy an intense and meaningful group experience\, and participate in an international cultural project\, this workshop is for you.
