A one-hour interactive workshop exploring the therapeutic power of expressive writing as a practical and scientifically recognized tool for emotional release, stress reduction, and psychological resilience in adults aged 26 and older. Drawing on scientific research, including the pioneering work of James W. Pennebaker and subsequent studies in psychology and health, participants will learn simple, structured writing techniques that support emotional processing, cognitive clarity, and self-awareness. Research shows that writing about meaningful experiences can improve emotional regulation, reduce psychological distress, and enhance overall well-being when practiced regularly.
Participants will be guided through writing exercises in a safe, confidential, and nonjudgmental space. No previous experience is required, and you will not be required to share your writing.
The goal is to encourage reflection, exploration, and personal expression.
With this workshop, you will:
Understand the scientific basis of expressive writing.
Experience guided expressive writing exercises firsthand.
Learn practical techniques applicable to everyday life.
Acquire tools for emotional regulation, stress management, and self-reflection.
Develop greater awareness of internal emotional processes.
